Free Learn to Skate classes for beginners to intermediate skaters.
About this event
Come along to Sydney Park Skatepark to attend our Learn to Skate classes.
This workshop is for ages 6 years and up. Professional grade equipment; skateboard, helmet, and safety pads are provided for all classes. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.
Cost: $35.20
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
9:00 am - 9:15 am: Beginner class registration
9:15 am - 10:15 am: Beginner class (1 hr class. Suitable for skill level 0 to 1.)
10:15 am - 10:30 am: Intermediate "mentoring" class registration
10:30 am - 11:30 am: Intermediate "mentoring" class (1hr class. Suitable for skill level 2 to 3.)
*Times may vary on the day
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ
WAIVER FORM - Participants must complete our online waiver form here before they can skate. Please try to have this done before you get to the skatepark.
Spots are limited and bookings are essential.
* This is an outdoor event. Postponement and cancellation is subject to weather conditions and can happen anywhere from 48 hours to 2 hours before a workshop. We cannot skate in the rain or on wet grounds.
