Free Learn to Skate classes and Skate Jam for beginners to intermediate skaters.

Come along to the Offical Opening of Boongaree Skatepark to attend our FREE Community Skate Workshop thanks to Shoalhaven City Council.
This workshop is for ages 6 years and up.
Equipment: Professional grade equipment; skateboard, helmet, and safety pads are provided for all classes. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
10:30 am - 11:30 am: Speeches and offical opening
11:30 am - 11:35 am: Skate demo
11:35 am - 11:50 am: Beginner class registration
11:50 am - 12:50 pm: Beginner class (1 hr class. Suitable for skill level 0 to 1.)
12:50 pm - 1:05 pm: Intermediate "mentoring" class registration
1:05 pm - 1:50 pm: Intermediate "mentoring" class (45min class. Suitable for skill level 2 to 3.)
1:50pm - 3:20pm: Self Expression jam session - Skate and Scooter (Open to all ages . Suitable for skill level 2 to 3)
3:20 pm - 3:30 pm: Community Interaction

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ
WAIVER FORM - Participants must complete our online waiver form here before they can skate. Please try to have this done before you get to the skatepark. THE WAIVER FORM IS NOT A TICKET.
Spots are limited and bookings are essential via Eventbrite.
* This is an outdoor event. Postponement and cancellation is subject to weather conditions and can happen anywhere from 48 hours to 2 hours before a workshop. We cannot skate in the rain or on wet grounds.
