Skate. Create. Capture
Totem Skateboarding is proud to partner with Mid-Western Regional Council to deliver an exciting youth workshop that brings together skateboarding, creativity and storytelling.
Skate Create Capture gives young people the chance to build confidence on a skateboard while also learning how to photograph and film skateboarding. Participants will rotate between two hands-on sessions: a supportive skate mentoring workshop with Totem’s experienced coaches, and a creative media session where they’ll learn how to capture action through photo and video.
All equipment is provided, including skateboards, helmets and safety gear, as well as cameras and media equipment for the creative workshop. Whether you’re new to skating or already riding, this workshop is designed to be fun, welcoming and accessible.
Photos and videos created during the workshop will become part of the Tell Your Story – Youth Art Exhibition at Mudgee Arts Precinct, showcasing the voices and creativity of young people from across the Mid-Western Region.
Come along, learn new skills, express your creativity and be part of something special with your community.
This workshop is focused on ages 12 years to 24 years.
