Free skate mentoring session and skatepark guidelines ideas session.

About this event

Come along to St Ives Skatepark to attend our FREE workshop thanks to Ku-Ring-Gai Council.

This workshop is for intermediate riders, ages 10 years and up. Professional grade equipment; skateboard, helmet, and safety pads are provided for the mentoring class. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

Week 3 - Friday 29th July

3:30 pm to 3:40 pm: Registration

3:40 pm to 4:20 pm: Mentoring skate session (40min class. Suitable for skill level 2 to 3.)

4:20 pm to 4:50 pm: skatepark guidelines ideas session

4:50 pm to 5:30 pm: mini jam for skate and scoot with prize giveaways to be won and BBQ thanks for Ku-Ring-Gai Council.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ

WAIVER FORM - Participants must complete our online waiver form here before they can skate. Please try to have this done before you get to the skatepark.

Spots are limited and bookings are essential.

* This is an outdoor event. Postponement and cancellation is subject to weather conditions and can happen anywhere from 48 hours to 2 hours before a workshop. We cannot skate in the rain or on wet grounds.
