Free Learn to Skate classes and Skate Jam for beginners to intermediate skaters.

Come along to Rooty Hill Skatepark to attend our FREE Community Skate Workshop.

This workshop is for ages 6 years and up. Professional grade equipment; skateboard, helmet, and safety pads are provided for all classes. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:

10 am to 10:20 am: Beginner class registration

10:20 am to 11:20 am: Beginner class (1 hr class. Suitable for skill level 0 to 1.)

11:20 am to 11:40 am: Intermediate "mentoring" class registration

11:40 am to 12:40 pm: Intermediate "mentoring" class (1 hr class. Suitable for skill level 2 to 3.)

12:40 pm to 1 pm: Demo and Community Interaction

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ

WAIVER FORM - Participants must complete our online waiver form here before they can skate. Please try to have this done before you get to the skatepark.

Spots are limited and bookings are essential.

* This is an outdoor event. Postponement and cancellation is subject to weather conditions and can happen anywhere from 48 hours to 2 hours before a workshop. We cannot skate in the rain or on wet grounds.
