We have partnered with Leeton Shire Council to run the 20th Annual RIGGS Cup, Riverina Skate Champs.

The RIGGS Cup

The RIGGS Cup has been a big part of our personal story here at Totem and the Leeton/Griffth community for the last 20 years. Richard O’Hara(Riggs) was by far one f the best skater in the area when we were growing up. He was a proud young man that was frighteningly great at everything he tried. Unfortunately, Richie took his own life at the peak of his skating and Basketball career. Having this happen to such an inspirational young person hit the community hard, so we decided to celebrate Richard's life in a yearly Skate comp and named it the RIGGS Cup.

The first RIGGS cup was in 2003, just 3 years after we had finished the new skatepark. It was a massive event, and the Griffith and Leeton community came together to celebrate Richie's life and shine a light on mental health. It was a beautiful day. 

COMP SCHEDULE:

Register for your category and age group.

Skateboard, BMX, and Scooter

1. Groms ~ “10's & UNDER” age group

2. 11 to 16's age group

3. Over 16's age group

*Time slots for your age group within each category will be announced on the day, so make sure you arrive at 10:00 am.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ

WAIVER FORM - Participants must complete our online waiver form here before they can skate. Please try to have this done before you get to the skatepark. THE WAIVER FORM IS NOT A TICKET.

Spots are limited and bookings are essential via Eventbrite.

* This is an outdoor event. Postponement and cancellation is subject to weather conditions and can happen anywhere from 48 hours to 2 hours before a workshop. We cannot skate in the rain or on wet grounds.
