Free Learn to Skate classes for beginners to intermediate skaters.

Come along to Annandale Skatepark at Whites Creek Valley Park Annandale (corner Piper and White Streets)to attend our FREE Learn to Skate Workshop thanks to Inner West Council. This workshop is part of Footprints Ecofestival 2022.
This workshop is for ages 6 years and up. Professional grade equipment; skateboard, helmet, and safety pads are provided for all classes. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE: Please only book for 1 class
11:00 - 11:20 am: Beginner class registration
11:20 am - 12:20 pm: Beginner class (1 hr class. Suitable for skill level 0 to 1.)
12:20 pm - 12:40 pm: Intermediate "mentoring" class registration
12:40 pm - 1:40 pm: Intermediate "mentoring" class (1 hr class. Suitable for skill level 2 to 3.)
1:40 pm - 2 pm: Demo and Community Interaction

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ
WAIVER FORM - Participants must complete our online waiver form here before they can skate. Please try to have this done before you get to the skatepark.
Spots are limited and bookings are essential.
* This is an outdoor event. Postponement and cancellation is subject to weather conditions and can happen anywhere from 48 hours to 2 hours before a workshop. We cannot skate in the rain or on wet grounds.
